Ashoka empowers learners for self-exploration to become responsible global citizens with a deep-rooted ethos of Indian culture and tradition. We encourage our students to be globally aware and conscious of the choices they make.

How do we establish Global Connect?

• Offering Opportunities: Students are given opportunities to interact with global entities.
• Encouraging Ideologies: Students are encouraged to develop thought-provoking ideologies and question the status quo.
• Interactive Simulations: Interactive and effective simulations promote creative thinking and collaboration.
• Global Perspectives: At Ashoka, we establish Global Connect by gaining Global Perspectives with International Student Exchange Collaboration Programs.

Why we do it:

• To develop awareness on international relations, diplomacy, geopolitics, and communication skills at an international level.
• These sessions engage students in international affairs, offer a global perspective on pressing issues, and provide long-lasting learning experiences.
• Such experiences contribute to a positive change in society's mindset and thought processes.

Examples of Recent International Exchange Programs:

• Ashoka students represented the Indian delegation at the UN Geneva for the UN International Peacekeepers Day Event in May 2023, presenting well-drafted papers on SDG goals related to poverty elimination, quality education, and peace, emphasizing the importance of these goals in achieving global peace.
• An Indo-Congo Exchange Program was held on International Friendship Day, where students exchanged cultural information and discussed topics like gender equality, education, work rights, international peace, conservation of natural resources, and global warming, fostering a deeper understanding of global issues and cultural diversity.

Happiness Curriculum

Magic of Happiness is an in-house curriculum to bring a positive change to bring happiness in the life of every Ashokite.

Through this curriculum, we not only develop social and emotional skills but also develop mental health as we believe these aspects are essential in helping us all lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

Magic of happiness helps all our young learners and staff to thrive personally and academically, develop and maintain positive relationships, become lifelong learners, and contribute to a more caring, just world.

This program aims to create a supportive environment that helps equip students with resilience and empathy, enabling them to tackle real-life challenges with confidence and compassion.

• The happiness curriculum reduces anxiety, depression, and intolerance among students.
• It is set by a panel of experts at the school for grades 1 to 12.
• It comprises theoretical and practical aspects of learning.
• It covers topics like Self Awareness, Self-Management, Conflict Resolution Self-Determination, and Positive Relationship.
• Theory includes case studies, testimonials, presentations, and group discussions.
• Practicals include Activities, Field visits, Guest Lectures, and Expert Talks.

3D Lab

Teaching and learning get an extra edge and relevance when visualized through 3D graphics and modern simulation techniques.

• Our experienced and skilled teachers efficiently use this facility to engage as well as captivate curious minds. 
• The layer-wise seating arrangement and theater setup provide the audience with a birds-eye view and make the whole experience indelible.

Our annual 'Art Fest' is Ashoka Group of School’s intellectual property that students conceptualize, plan, organize, market, finance, and execute every year.

• The Art Fest showcases the creativity of our students and is one of Nashik’s most-awaited events every year.
• Art masterpieces are sold at the fest, with proceeds benefiting both students and NGOs.
• The Ashoka Art Fest is a student-led initiative, where they experience entrepreneurship, empathy, and end-to-end event execution.
• Since the conceptualization of the Art Fest, we have enabled the participation of over 8,000 students and counting.
• We have exhibited over 10,000 artworks and counting.

Ashoka Astronomical Society

The Only School in Maharashtra to be accredited as an ISRO Space Tutor.

Ashoka Astronomical Society offers a unique in-house observatory in Nashik focused on sparking a passion for space science and astronomy.

Ashoka Education Foundation has been accredited as a 'Registered Space Tutor', by the national space agency- Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). As a registered space tutor, the organization is engaged in promoting space science education and its awareness among students. Ashoka Education Foundation is among the 28 organizations to have received this recognition from ISRO, during the launch of this program. NASA Space Educator Er. Apurva Jakhadi is an Advisor to the Ashoka Group of Schools.

We give our students opportunities to stand tall and aim for global leadership through various events right from lower grades, like Retorica, The Plug, Ashoka Talks and eventually culminating in Tedx Youth.
